DragonForce guitarists Sam Totman and Herman Li were interviewed by Sam Stewart-Panko when the band played Toronto on October 20. Astute metal fans will recognize that last name, but maybe not the first name; that’s because Sam Stewart-Panko is the nine-year-old son of prominent metal journalist Kevin Stewart-Panko, and a major DragonForce fan. DRAGONFORCE CANCEL LOS ANGELES SHOW
Due to circumstances beyond their control, DragonForce have been forced to cancel their sold-out show at Los Angeles’ Troubadour on Tuesday, Oct. 18. The show would have been the US live debut of brand new singer Marc Hudson. However, upon his arrival in LA on Saturday evening, he fell ill, contracting a virus which is preventing him from performing. Hudson made the valiant effort to try and salvage the show, consulting with a doctor last night for the final time. He was told that there was no way he could possibly perform in his condition.
The band is incredibly frustrated to come all this way, only to be tripped at the last minute. DragonForce extends its apologies to all the LA fans they were looking forward to playing for but the situation is completely and entirely out of their control.

DRAGONFORCE CANCEL KNOCKOUT FESTIVAL APPEARANCE
It is with great regret that DragonForce feels compelled to cancel their forthcoming appearance at the Knockout Festival on December 10th, due to the festival’s promoters not honouring written agreements. The band would like to apologise to their fans in Germany but this is a matter of principle that agreements are kept and adhered to and that they look forward to playing in Germany in 2012.

Special ‘Up Close and Personal’ show to take place at NYC’s Gramercy Theatre.
First Los Angeles, then Toronto, and now New York City. The mighty DragonForce announce the last in a trio of special, intimate shows on October 21st at New York’s Gramercy Theater. DragonForce’s return to New York will be their first since 2009, and will give fans and media the unique opportunity to preview the band’s new singer Marc Hudson and whet their appetites for what’s to come with some brand new material from their highly anticipated forthcoming album.
This special show will be the band’s only East Coast appearance in the US before moving to the big stage with full production for their World Tour, which commences early 2012. Tickets are limited to 2 per person and are available Friday June 10th...

The promoter of the KNOCK OUT FESTIVAL 2011 is proud to announce the addition of DRAGONFORCE, the British high speed sensation of the last couple of years to the festival bill.
